Landscape
Landscape connects all the programs together. The design concept fuses together the traditional Chinese landscape techniques of “screening scenes in different steps” “borrowing views”, “seeing great from small”, while combining a set the idea in a contemporary community. The elegant combination of contemporary design and traditional approach to design offer winding paths that lead to enchanting views, all the while offering spaces for formal and informal gathering. Pavilions, bridges, running streams, a plaza and walking streets, all contribute to a public community space that can serve in various types of outdoor activities.
Architecture
A landscape with pockets of architecture serves as a marker to define the different typologies of outdoor spaces. Borrowing from traditional Chinese architectural style with white walls and black tiles help present an affinity and modern community. Supporting buildings include a teahouse, a nursing home, a kindergarten, a worship center, a market and an exhibition area that can serve as daily nursing, weekend bazaar and flea market or serve the community as needed.
